From a simple intent to shoot film in the forest while controlling light, came our 20 x 12 foot open-wall studio in the meadow of an old growth Douglas Fir forest.

A unique filming venue.
The primary backdrop is a 20 x 12 foot open wall framed in Shou Sugi Ban redwood. At the side of the studio is a barn door that creates another 8 x 8 foot opening. Interior lighting drops from the ceiling and racks on the walls.

An extraordinary feel.
The studio interior is hand-crafted from live-edged cypress slabs, and Douglas fir flooring, honeying the Northern California light. Everything in the space, including furniture, is hand-made.
